In Whitehorse I met back up with Rachel, and we quickly learnt one of the big benefits of traveling with 2 vans, more kitchen space! We spent the night at a campground to charge our batteries and use the facilities and make a delicious dinner. The plan for the next day was to head out to Kluane 1 last time before leaving the Yukon.

The next day we got to Kluane in the afternoon so we didn't have time for a full hike, but there was a short hike that was on both of our lists so we headed out! It ended up being insanely windy... Not the best hike, but still nice to be out!

We were going to stay in the Kluane area for the week while we worked, so we found an absolutely beautiful spot on the lake to setup.

Later that week after work we headed out for the other longer hike that was on both of our lists. On the way to the trail head, which was on a pretty long dirt road, we picked up a couple that was hitchhiking back to the trail head. They had locked their keys in their rv and had to walk down the road to the visitor center to call a friend to come with a spare. We actually ran into them later on the hike, they had managed to make it into the RV, so their friend didn't end up needing to come :)
The weather was perfect, and the views were wonderful on the trail. I'm going to miss Kluane!
