Tā Ch'ilā Park
June 10, 2023 to June 11, 2023I stopped at Tā Ch'ilā Park for the night, and the next day did a little hike to a beaver damn.
The rest of the day I spent kayaking around the lakes and bays, beautiful area!
I came across a loon that kept diving and coming up by me. The waters were so clear I could see it swimming underneath the kayak!
It was far to far away when it flapped it's wings... but I tried to get some photos and crop them when it did.
The day ended driving into the Yukon, I'm officially north of the 60° parallel! (and obviously the new farthest north I've been) The sun is setting at 11:30 and this point and the "night" is not really dark, twilight all night! Only 1,800km left to get to the arctic ocean :)
