Kamloops
May 10, 2023 to May 19, 2023Time to head back to Kamloops! First little stop was not that far outside of Revelstoke down a logging road. Nice and quiet :)
I had to make a slight detour to Vernon to pick up a backpack I've been trying to find for months. I was able to get the Valhalla Pure in Vernon to order the last one Mystery Ranch had available in Canada! While Popping down here I also picked up a new lens... lets see if I can do good things with it haha
Another drive in checked off the list! I stopped by the drive in in Enderby which had one of the better views I've seen.

Went back to the woods to this rec site on a river, it was still stupid hot out, but the river provided a nice cool breeze! On the way I stopped and got some asparagus from a farm so I cooked that up for dinner! :)
Nearby there was this short hike to a single hoodoo, it was 60 feet tall and absolutely not captured by these pictures.
One of the things I needed to get from Kamloops was a roof rack tray to store jerry cans. I found someone and I did up some drawings for what I want and he turned it around quickly so I could pick it up on my way! Now I'm truly ready for the north :)

I picked up a few more things in Kamloops like some groceries and a book. I also got a VHF radio so I can hopefully be safer going down the logging road. But then I started out, I stayed at a fun rec site that was setup for horses, and also stopped at a diner in Little Fort for a schnitzel... ridiculous portions.
