Mount Robson to Prince George
May 21, 2023 to May 26, 2023The next leg of the trip was to get to Prince George passing through Mount Robson. It was so nice to see the rockies again, I had missed them :D I wanted to do a hike in Robson park, but it turns out it was closed until July, so another time! I did stop by Rearguard falls, which is the farthest the Salmon come up the Fraser.
I stopped in McBride and went to Beanery2Bistro which was this little cafe in an old train station run by a couple. The vibes at this place were immaculate, you walked into a kinda residential looking kitchen, and have some wonderfully friendly service. 10/10, would recommend.
Continuing on I stayed at this rec site for a few days. I was parked right on the lake with mountains on the other side, and a whole bunch of tadpoles along the shore.
I made a random stop at this chip truck thinger, It's apparently open 24 hours, though I didn't test that cause it was the afternoon :P
Before heading into Prince george I stopped and did the hike at The Ancient Forest, absolutely stunning old growth cedar forest.
There was an attempt at taking a drove video of this waterfall... I think I need to work on my cinematography a bit!
And to end off after picking some things up in Prince george, I headed straight to the drive in, cause I have a problem :P The first movie was Mario... again... so I cleaned Vern for that movie, and the second feature was Fast X.
