Now that Claire took off in her plane, I headed out from Winnipeg to explore. First stop... Big things, oh no!
Now that thats out of my system I headed over to the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre to see some bones 🦴.
I found another drive in, so I obviously had to go see a movie. This drive in had a fun twist, it was a campground as well! I had stayed at other drive-ins before just in the lot, but this is the first one that was officially setup for it. The next day, the person who sold me my ticket came over with his girlfriend to ask questions about my van.
There was a park with sand dunes that I had to go for a hike at.
Heading up to Riding Mountain National Park, I wanted to go to the Bison enclosure, but it turned out to be closed. I ended up doing this lovely hike that had a community canoe on it for hikers to go for a paddle.
Driving around exploring the park, I saw a bunch of bears, and pelicans! fun :)
I spent more time then I maybe wanted to in Foxwarren because I was waiting for some packages. But they had this beautiful free campsite with free power!
Hey! Ontario?! Whats going on here? I realized when I renewed my license they put in the wrong address, so I had to drive back to Kenora to find a Service Ontario to update the address again so I could get a new one before mine expired. Along the way I needed to entertain myself, and I had this hook that Claire and I found while hiking. I got a magnet and a bolt to screw into the hook, and then I stuck it to my partition to make this lovely coat or hat hanger :)
The package! Another team building exercise with work, we did a chocolate tasting. They used this adorable paperclip that I will cherish forever :P Thats it for Manitoba! Saskatchewan here I come!
